I have combination skin and during the winter I find that my skin runs dryer in many spots (corners of my mouth and under my nostrils). I have used this since early September and I want to say that this has made my skin feel much stronger and brightness to it. The dry spots on my face are so much more less noticeable— less flaky skin and less redness. When I wear makeup, the flakiness is very visible, but using Malai whipped tallow, it has made my skin look flawless without foundation. In fact, I began using only concealer and blush whenever I go out to see my friends. I love this product because it brought out the best in my skin and I can 100% vouch that my worries of this product being another TikTok fad, or the oiliness from the tallow will ruin my skin is absolutely false. This is the only product that I use on my sensitive skin.
my first impression when I open the jar is that I was a little taken back by how the jar looked about a quarter empty, but I’m guessing it’s because of the product settling during shipping. It’s fine though because a little bit goes a long way. It is a very moisturizing product. The rose vanilla scent is not too overpowering, but I had a hard time getting past the smell of beef tallow. Even though the fragrance is pleasant, you can still smell the beef tallow through it unfortunately. Overall, it is very moisturizing and I’ve noticed that it’s been helping dry skin.
I have really sensitive skin, and I damaged my skin barrier due to using too many actives and I stopped using all actives and only used malai after cleansing morning and night, and my skin barrier healed in one day! I also have really bad eczema on my hands triggered by the cold weather and I put malai on at night, my hands will be red, cracked and dry and I’ll wake up in the morning with smooth, redness-free, moisturized hands.
Super creamy natural product (I find other natural products sometimes sticky, this one isn’t oily or sticky. Feels rly nice and silky / hydrating on the body / face. Has a very subtle floral scent. Truly love this product
this is my 2nd time buying the product. I got the rose scented one and it's so light and beautiful! the texture has been amazing since day 1 but this time its so much airier! truly feels like a luxury experience - I look forward to my morning and night rituals applying malai to my face. I purchased this product hoping it would provide relief for my four-year-old daughter's eczema, as I had read about the positive results others experienced. Unfortunately, we did not achieve the same outcome. I continued using the lotion until the container was finished, ensuring we gave it ample time to see any potential benefits. While I appreciate the natural ingredients, I found the price to be on the higher side for the quantity provided, especially when compared to similar products on the market. Though this particular lotion didn’t work for us as expected, I recognize that skincare results can vary from person to person.

The product was disappointingly grainy, unlike the smooth, buttery texture shown in the pictures and described in the posts. As someone with severe eczema and delicate skin, I was hoping for a gentle, soothing application. Unfortunately, the rough texture caused discomfort and irritation upon use, making it unsuitable for my needs.
Hi Tanya! I'm sorry you're disappointed in your purchase! However, the graininess is likely due to natural fat crystallization. This can sometimes happen when temperature fluctuations cause the tallow and oils to melt and solidify at different rates. This does not effect the quality of the product itself in any way.
These tiny crystals melt effortlessly with body heat. To restore the buttercream-like texture, try warming a small amount between your palms for a few seconds before applying. That will immediately melt the crystals, and allow for a smooth application. Alternatively, if you'd like to reset the consistency, you can gently melt the product (placing the jar in warm water (not on direct heat) or a sunny spot for a bit), then stir and let it cool at room temperature.
