First of all, this review is completely unbiased. Over the past few months, Maalish has become a staple in my self care routine. I apply it at night, put my hair in a bun and wash it in the next day. Each time I style my curls, they are more defined and healthy. It has helped my hair grow rapidly after a major chop in November. Included is one picture of my hair recently after the chop, and two pictures taken today. I’ve never felt satisfied with the result of my curls after styling until Maalish. Everything about this product from the formula to the scent to the packaging represents love, luxury, and perfection. Every other product in my routine is replaceable, but Maalish will forever stay.
This hair oil renders me speechless. I’m just finishing my bottle from Mashal’s initial brew and I can’t wait to purchase another one. This oil has become my go-to whenever my hair is feeling dull, dry, or damaged. I have naturally wavy, curly hair that I've been trying to repair after years of chemical treatments and heat styling. At one point, my hair was so fragile that it would break just from putting it into a ponytail. Since using this oil, I've noticed a huge difference. My hair feels stronger, looks noticeably shinier, and is much smoother and healthier overall.

I’ve never really been a hair oil person. I always found them messy, annoying to use, and most of the ones I’d tried never seemed to make much of a difference.
This one completely changed my mind. The pump applicator makes it so easy to apply straight to your scalp without making a mess, which honestly makes me much more likely to actually use it consistently. The smell is also really nice, light and subtle, not overpowering at all.
I’ve been using it for about 6 months now, and I’ve genuinely noticed baby hairs growing back in areas where I was experiencing hair loss. My hair also just looks and feels healthier overall.

What I love most is the smell. It’s so relaxing and calming, and I actually look forward to using it. It also makes my hair feel really soft and silky. I usually put it on before I shower, and I’ve noticed a lot less hair fall since I started using it.

I do not colour my hair any more and have gone naturally gray. I love my hair but have to say that for some reason gray hair tends to get a bit dry and at times straggly. I noticed applying Maalish regularly, before , in between and even after washing my hair has helped me . Highly recommend this product.

Gorgeous hair oil and have noticed a difference in my postpartum hair. Within a month, hair is shinier, softer and less breakage with showering.
I just love this oil because it smells amazing and leaves your hair feeling soft enough that I can run my fingers through it. It may sound crazy, but I did notice less fallout after my first use. The Maaalish hair oil came up on my Instagram and I didn’t know if it would suit my Afro kinky hair type; so I reached out to Dr. Mashal Khan who assured me that it would. I had been looking for a good quality hair oil that would give my texturised hair some volume. Afro hair tends to break when you change the texture or use certain types of shampoos that are not made for our curly texture. I’ve used this hair oil for almost two weeks now and the difference is 100% noticeable. I left it on for 12 hours in a bonnet and washed in the evening, and there was less hair loss than with previous washes. I also used a few drops for my daily leave-in regimen. Apart from the fact that the scent is ridiculously amazing, my hair strands are visibly healthier and my hair is so much more silky and voluminous. I’m actually quite surprised at how effective it is. I’ve never used any oil that has had such a profound impact. You can also tell that it is rich in texture and not diluted like hair oils that you find in cosmetic shops; this means that you don’t need a lot of it to get the desired result. Definitely good value for your money! So happy with it and highly recommend!
I love love love this oil. I use it with castor oil and massage my scalp for several minutes and use it along the lengths of my locks as well. I love sleeping with it in my hair, and the scent soothes my nervous system. As for the results, well, I'm now one year post partum and my hair is in better shape than it was before my pregnancy!
My husband is hooked now too. In fact, I need to purchase more just because he uses it on a regular basis as well.

I would buy this again and again! This oil has transformed my hair. I was on the hunt for a product that would tackle my concerns around hair shedding and frizzy hair. On top of that, having hypothyrodism made it more difficult to find products that would actually bring results that I was happy with. I have used the hair oil twice since i received it last week and i have one word, WOW!! First initial thoughts were that the packaging is soooo luxurious and the smell matches the packaging just as amazing!!! I loveee applying it and the smell is soooo nice!! My hair after the wash is sooooo silky and easy to blow dry and I got told a bunch of times my hair looks like a wig because it made my blowdrys last longer and was more voluminous but still looked silky!!!
