After years of training in medicine and surgery across Europe and North America, I came to a realization: true, lasting health doesn’t begin in the hospital or the operating room—it begins at home, with how we live, eat, and care for ourselves every day.
Graduating from the Royal College of Surgeons and training at Harvard Medical School gave me the privilege of learning life-saving care. But I also saw the limitations. Even with advanced medicine, state-of-the-art procedures, and world-renowned specialists, patients rarely achieved long-term health unless they addressed the root causes in their daily lives.
That’s what led me to step away from traditional medicine and into coaching. I dedicated myself to proactive, preventative care—teaching others how to use nutrition, naturopathy, Ayurveda, and functional medicine to reclaim autonomy over their health and prevent chronic illness before it takes hold.
But my journey didn’t end there. Becoming a wife and mother deepened my mission. My son’s eczema and my own postpartum hair loss reminded me that health is not only about preventing disease—it’s about caring for families in the most practical, nurturing ways. That’s why I created MKMD, a line of holistic products rooted in ancient wisdom and modern science. My Ayurvedic hair oil was born from the need to protect and restore postpartum hair, and my whipped tallow cream was crafted to soothe my baby’s sensitive skin.
Today, everything I create—whether through my coaching or my formulations—carries the same purpose: to weave together timeless rituals and modern care, so that families can feel nourished, supported, and whole.
